I'm going with analogue speed from now on. I just did a quick remake of 1 lap of my local track adding an analogue speedo & wow what a difference, watch that needle climb in comparison to my original vid with digital overlay. I agree 100%, I find the analogue needles easier to decipher information from in peripheral vision than digital maybe I'm just getting old. I guess that says something to my aesthetic appeal. All my high end studio gear has VU meters, too. I don't think I'd choose the TFT if given the option because I'm just a huge fan of sweeping dials. The "current" display gives me all this information in a very non-distracting way. How many miles have I gone and when will I need gas? I think TFT displays are cool and all, but nothing can beat a beautiful analog tach to these eyes. ![]()
